2008
Founding members/owner of Pelican Companies started their work with disaster recovery in 2008 with hurricane Gustav through previous companies and have continued to grow and work in that field to this day.
Most recently, Pelican was approached by two companies, Lamar contractors and Excel USA, to work in the USVI after storms Maria and Irma. We worked as part of the STEPS program to get residents back safely into their homes. While working for the two companies we were able to complete construction orders on over 300 homes between 3 different islands.
